How often you need to schedule deliveries depends on frequency of use. If you use propane every day, you will see a pattern for when you will need more. We can tell you, based on your number of appliances and estimated use, how often you will need deliveries.
If this is the case, we can put you on our Keep Filled automatic delivery schedule. Our computer system tracks how much fuel your home or business will typically use based on how cold it is outside. We will deliver fuel automatically to you, usually when your tank gets to be 25-30% full. The result: No more run-outs, no more calling for a delivery and no more waiting for the truck to arrive!
We have emergency propane home delivery service, too.
Our service people remain on-call 24 hours a day in case a local propane delivery is needed immediately. In emergency situations at night, a service truck will come to your house for a quick “advance” of gas, and a full propane tank delivery can be made the next day.
Should I call for my fuel deliveries?
Most of our customers like the convenience of our Keep Filled delivery service. But, if for some reason, you prefer to call in your order each time, please be aware that there is a gap of up to 10 days between the time you place your order and the time we can actually deliver it. This is necessary because a “will-call” delivery has to be scheduled into our carefully planned routes.
Not being on our Keep Filled program also means you have to take full responsibility for monitoring your tank level at regular intervals. TIP: When your propane tank level reaches 30%, you should call for more fuel.
Another problem with calling for your fuel every time is the possibility of running out. When we experience bouts of cold temperatures, people burn more fuel than normal. You would be surprised at how often people run out of propane when this happens.
