Advanced Propane Inc., based out of Lebanon, is pleased to announce the opening of a new office in Hartsville, Tennessee, with local residents, Stanley and Jane Farley, set to manage its operations.
A family owned, full-service propane provider founded in 1992 in Wilson County, Advanced Propane now serves 17 counties in Middle Tennessee. In June of this year, API expanded its operations with a second office in Cookeville, before opening the Hartsville branch in September.
“This is an exciting time for us,” said API Hartsville Managers, Stanley and Jane Farley. “We are very pleased to be associated with Advanced Propane. It will be a great partnership because we share similar business goals, strong work ethic and an identical approach to excellence in customer service.”
Stanley and Jane Farley have a combined 36 years of experience in the propane industry. Both are lifelong residents of Trousdale and Macon Counties, with five children and 15 grandchildren between them, all who live close by.
Located at 109 East McMurry Boulevard, the Hartsville office will service API propane customers in Trousdale and Macon Counties, including areas in eastern Sumner County. Stanley and Jane Farley can be reached at (615) 680-3371.
Advanced Propane recently announced plans to open a new office in Cookeville as part of its expansion in eastern Middle Tennessee.
“This is an exciting time for our business,” said API Cookeville Branch Manager, Luke Stewart. “Not only are we continuing to expand the number of Tennessee counties we serve, but we have plans to build a new office in Cookeville that will serve as a hub for our new regional development,” says Stewart.
Advanced Propane will open for business by leasing temporary office space while overseeing construction of a permanent office in Cookeville. A grand opening celebration for the new office will be held next year.
Stewart’s future plans also include moving his family to Cookeville to settle in as part of the community. Advanced Propane will keep with its tradition of being involved in local civic and business matters.

Just like everyone else, Advanced Propane is happily celebrating the arrival of spring and saying a grateful goodbye to the long, cold winter of 2014!
We would like to thank our propane customers for your overwhelming positive response and understanding about the challenges this hard winter presented to us.
Advanced Propane, along with propane providers across the U.S., was impacted by the strain on the propane distribution system in place by winter’s early arrival, widespread freezing temperatures, and the constant succession of powerful storms of snow and ice that impacted a large swath of the country.
Advanced Propane’s top priority is always to take care of our customers. We worked hard during the coldest of days and nights making multiple rounds of partial fill deliveries to our customers to ensure that no customer of ours was left in the cold. We appreciate your expressions of understanding about this matter.
We were especially grateful to see the following January 24 customer testimonial posted on our website: “Last night we called at 11 p.m. and actually spoke to a person (never happened in 11 years with our previous provider). They called the on-call person who not only called us back, but came out to deliver in the middle of the night. It was very late and very, very cold, but the deliveryman gave us a partial fill and we were able to get the heat going. I can’t thank Advanced Propane enough. It’s hard to explain how fantastic your customer service is. The other guys would never even think about doing this for their customers. So thank you very much and keep up the great work.” Gabe & Terry Fairchild, Hendersonville, TN
Thank you very much!
Welcome Winter 2014!
We have arrived at that pivotal time of year when new resolutions for a New Year are established and set in motion! Traditionally, it’s a time when we resolve to take control of our circumstances, and make changes that will benefit us and improve our lives.
As a business, we also have goals for the New Year. In 2013, Advanced Propane expanded our service area in Middle Tennessee to include five additional counties (Smith, Cannon, Jackson, DeKalb and western Putnam) for a total of 13 counties we now serve. Our resolution for 2014 is to provide the same exceptional service along with the fair and consistent pricing our current customers enjoy, while growing our customer base in these new areas. There you have it!
What are your plans and resolutions for the New Year?
Are you building a home? Or are you planning improvements to your current home to enhance your family’s lifestyle? Are you looking for ways of becoming more efficient to help reduce costs and increase peace of mind?
As you know, when building a new home there are many options to consider and choices to be made in your planning. While most decisions are made years in advance, there are options available for lifestyle enhancements that often don’t get the full consideration they deserve. Incorporating propane gas is one such option.
Propane gas is an excellent alternate home energy source when building or making home improvements because it provides efficiency for cost savings, as well as increased comfort and convenience. This is especially true when building in a rural setting outside the reach of city gas lines. Sure, electricity is easy enough to tap into, yet there are great advantages to adding propane gas for home heating, cooking and more.
For instance, a propane dual fuel unit will run on electric heat during warmer winter temperatures, before switching to warmer propane heat when outside temperatures drop. Propane heaters and gas logs offer the same great efficiency and comfort, yet with the advantage of not being reliant on electricity. A backup propane generator can power appliances including a propane dual fuel unit, lighting, propane water heater, and other “electric” appliances such as a television, to help maintain your family’s level of comfort and convenience even during electrical outages. How is that for peace of mind!
If you already know and enjoy the benefits of propane in your home… bravo! Yet, you still have a choice about whether to keep your current provider, or to make the switch to a new preferred propane provider who will better serve your needs.
How satisfied are you with your current propane provider? How confident are you that you are getting fair and consistent pricing without hidden fees? Are you happy with the professional and knowledgeable customer service you receive? Does your propane provider offer 24-hour emergency service? Are you able to speak to a live person whenever you call?
If you answered “no” to any of these questions, you have a choice! Switching to a propane provider you trust to meet your expectations is a positive change you can resolve to make in 2014. Advanced Propane is committed to making that transition easy for you.
Yes, the arrival of winter is a time for celebrating the unique beauty of the season… from the comfort and convenience of home!
It’s also a good time to let Advanced Propane help you make some positive lifestyle changes for a great new year!
Thinking of building or remodeling your home? Out of reach of gas lines? Don’t get left in the cold! Consider Propane!
