API booth at the Middle Tennessee Home Show in Hendersonville

This past winter Advanced Propane set up display booths at three different home shows – the Wilson Bank & Trust Construction Expo in Lebanon, Nashville Home Show in Franklin, and Middle Tennessee Home Show in Hendersonville.

It was a lot of work with 120 man hours spent on planning, setting up and talking with folks from all over Middle Tennessee. But it was very rewarding!

We discovered an optimistic attitude prevailed among the folks we spoke with who are looking at building or remodeling homes.

Tired of being cold, they were eager to hear about the comfort and convenience that heating with propane can provide for their families.

We also talked about the advantages of a variety of propane appliances in the home. The propane tankless water heater garnered the most interest among the folks we talked to. The idea of hot showers on demand gets them every time!

We truly enjoy the people we meet at these home shows, and look forward to doing it again next year!

Recently we received a letter from a return customer that affirmed our practice of treating customers fairly goes a long way.  

Phyllis Maynard, of Castalian Springs, Tennessee wrote: “We had service with Advanced – VERY satisfied with service, always prompt, pleasant, reasonably priced – made the mistake (very costly/unpleasant mistake in the end) to change to another company that offered a cheap sign-up “special”, etc. WRONG!!!! Who EVER reads the fine print??? We found ourselves pretty much locked into a 3 year contract, ridiculous prices, [and] poor service with OTHER company!! They even brought us an ugly tank that ended up having a leak all that time!!! As SOON as we could we SWITCHED BACK TO ADVANCED!!!!!! Will not switch again!! We have found same courteous, prompt, pleasant service with Advanced – plus a freshly painted, functioning properly tank!! Thank you Advanced!!!”

If you recently moved to Middle Tennessee, you just won’t understand what all the hub-bub is about, but it is Wilson County Fair time again.

This year’s fair theme is “Pulling Together” and the entire community of volunteers are “Pulling Together” to make the 2012 Wilson County Fair the Best Fair Anywhere!

Beginning Friday, August 17, through Saturday, August 25, the Wilson County Fair will open its gates for over half a million people to pass through. Once inside those gates, the fun begins!

What do you do first? Check out who won the blue ribbons or maybe check out the farm exhibits? Of course, you must eat some fair food like Polish sausage, buttered corn on the cob, a walking taco, or even fried butter!

The midway will beckon to those who seek the thrills of the rides, while those who prefer a slower pace will stroll through the commercial displays or Fiddlers Grove. Oh, there is so much to do it may take all nine days to see it all!

As has been our custom for the last 15 years, Advanced Propane will be exhibiting at the fair. Our booth is located in the Turner Evans Building.  Come by and see the new propane powered lawn mower we have on display. And don’t forget to sign up to be eligible to win a patio heater we are giving away!
